Wyatt Leaf is a PhD student in the department of Comparative Literature, where he specializes in both French and Hispanic literature. Leaf is primarily interested in Mexican literature—particularly modernist and avant-garde movements of the early 20th century and their connection with literary developments in France. Passionate about instruction, Leaf also teaches Spanish and French language courses at Princeton. Originally from rural Central California, Leaf attended community college before transferring to Stanford University, where he double-majored in French and Hispanic letters and graduated with honors and distinction. At Princeton, Leaf looks forward to honing his capacities as a scholar and instructor, and making a meaningful contribution to the study of Hispanic literature.
