Sam is a senior in the History department studying race, labor, and capitalism in the Atlantic world. He is especially interested in slavery as it existed in Cuba, Brazil, and the US South during the nineteenth century. In addition to PLAS, he is pursuing concentrations in African American Studies and Humanistic Studies. Outside of the classroom, he serves as the editor-in-chief of both the Princeton Historical Review and The Nassau Weekly.
