Marquez is a concentrator in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in the Program in Latin American Studies. His interest in Latin American studies is focused in the region of Iquitos, Peru where he is investigating the conservation of the Amazonian Manatee. Outside of the classroom, Marquez is a Varsity athlete on the Men's Lacrosse team.
