Luke Chan is a politics major from Long Island, NY. As a recent Scholar in the Nation's Service Initiative (SINSI) intern, his research interests lie in Latin American polarization, democracy, and foreign relations. Luke plans on writing his senior thesis on Bolivian politics and relations with the US, expanding on his junior paper which analyzed Bolivian public opinion of the US. Luke had his first experience with PLAS in his sophomore fall when he took LAS 250 which went to Puerto Rico over the fall break!
