
Julia Campbell '22 recently completed her Master of Philosophy in Criminology at the University of Cambridge. Her dissertation was entitled: "At the Crossroads of the Cyberworld and the Underworld: Classifying Crimes Involving Cryptocurrency and Identifying Intervention Strategies." In this dissertation, Julia explored various types of crypto-related crimes and developed a 2x2 matrix framework that distinguishes between crypto-assisted and crypto-dependent crimes, as well as fraudulent and non-fraudulent crimes. She will be graduating with distinction on her dissertation and on the overall program.
This summer, at the University of Cambridge, she will be teaching a criminology program to high school students. Starting in the fall, Julia will be working as a legal analyst in Washington, D.C.
