Isabel Kingston, Comparative Literature

Bio/Description

Isabel Kingston is a junior in the Comparative Literature department conducting language studies in Spanish and Portuguese. She is also pursuing certificates in Latin American Studies, Dance, and European Cultural Studies. Outside of the classroom, Isabel is a member of Bodyhype Dance Company and a violinist in the Camerata chamber orchestra. Her junior paper centers the Cuban educational mission during the Angolan Civil War; other research interests include magical realist literature, Chilean politics, and educational justice.
