David Palomino is a junior in the Politics Department within the international relations track. Pursuing both a Latin American Studies certificate and an East Asian Studies certificate, David studies the intersections of China and Latin America. His study of Latin America is not only academic. It is personal. He remembers putting his fingers in the bullet holes left by Sendero Luminoso at his father's childhood home in Lima, and he hopes that this family memory will help guide his understanding of the region's past and present. Outside of class, David volunteers at El Centro, competes in Princeton Mock Trial, writes for the Daily Princetonian, and works at the Writing Center.
