Cristóbal Marín is vice chancellor for research and development at the Universidad Diego Portales. Marín holds a degree in philosophy from the Catholic University of Chile, a master's in social sciences and a doctorate in cultural studies from the University of Birmingham (UK). He has taught at the the Universidad Diego Portales and the Catholic University. He was also a columnist for El Mercurio and co-author of the award-winning documentary series Chile intimo. He is the author of “Huesos sin descanso: Fuegiunos en Londres”, published by Debate in 2019.
