Miguel Dominguez, PLAS graduate alum, named teaching fellow in Latin American studies at Durham University

Congratulations to PLAS graduate alum, Miguel Dominguez, for being awarded a teaching fellowship in Latin American Studies at Durham University's (UK) School of Modern Languages and Cultures for the 2021-2022 academic year.

While at Princeton, his research interests included Mexico, Brazil, and Latin America. As well as literary magazines, surrealism, historiography of the avant-garde, theory of trauma, intersections between disability studies and literary theory.

Miguel successfully completed his dissertation titled "Esquirlas de la vanguardia: Juan García Ponce y la literatura como supervivencia en el México del desarrollismo" earlier this year.
