In addition to creating opportunities to bring students to Latin America and the Caribbean, PLAS also brings the region to campus through funding for innovative programming. By helping to create a textured Latin American experience at the University, we celebrate the many contributions of the region, while offering new ways to engage.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate student groups planning on- and off-campus events related to Latin American studies. The relevance to Latin American studies must be clearly stated.
• Requests should be submitted in a timely manner.  Last minute requests may not be considered.

• Event types: Speakers, lectures, parties, programs, trips
• Funding: Up to $1,500
• Application cycles: Throughout the academic year
