PLAS takes pride in supporting a range of student-driven programming that sheds new light on the Latin American and Caribbean experience. We invite those planning events to submit requests for funding, whether for programs open to the campus community or events of specific interest to graduate students.

Application Details

Eligibility

• Graduate student groups planning on- and off-campus events related to Latin American studies. The relevance to Latin American studies must be clearly stated.
• Requests should be submitted in a timely manner.  Last minute requests may not be considered.

Parameters

• Event types: Speakers, lectures, parties, programs, trips
• Funding: Up to $1,500
• Application cycles: Throughout the academic year
