Faculty who are teaching courses on Latin America and the Caribbean are invited to apply for PLAS funding to bring in guest speakers or cover field trips to exhibitions, plays, concerts, or cultural events in the New York-Philadelphia corridor.

• Associated PLAS faculty members teaching sponsored or cross-listed courses

Parameters

• Funding: Up to $1,000 for class visits or a maximum of $11,000 if requesting support for an international class trip during fall or spring break
• Application cycles: Ongoing
• Funding covers: Honoraria and travel expenses for class visits (one per semester per faculty member) and travel expenses for fall/spring break trips and field trips.
