Princeton is a leader in offering eye-opening classroom experiences. Faculty who are teaching courses on Latin America and the Caribbean are invited to apply for PLAS funding to bring in guest speakers or cover field trips to exhibitions, plays, concerts, or cultural events in the New York-Philadelphia corridor.

- Associated PLAS faculty members teaching sponsored or cross-listed courses
Parameters
- Funding: Up to $1,500 or a maximum of $11,000 if requesting support for an international class trip during fall or spring break
- Application cycles: Ongoing
- Funding covers: Travel expenses for fall/spring break trips; field trips; and travel expenses and honoraria for in-class guest speakers (two per semester per faculty member)
