A unique opportunity for the campus community to engage with the most awarded female artist in Latin GRAMMY history in an intimate setting. The brilliant singer-songwriter from Mexico has carved a unique niche with her exceptional talent and diverse influences. Rooted in Latin American traditions, Lafourcade’s music weaves together rock, jazz, pop, bossa nova, and folk - captivating audiences around the world. Hear about her creative process, cultural influences, perspective on gender identity - and submit your own questions for the artist! The talk will be moderated by Professor Gabriella Nouzeilles, Emory L. Ford Professor of Spanish and PLAS Director. Learn more about our moderator.
