Gustavo Dudamel Artist-in-Residence 2018-2019

The Program in Latin American Studies is coordinating with Princeton University Concerts for their inaugural artist-in-residence, who is someone who has done more for the arts in his thirty-seven years than most artists can hope to achieve in a lifetime. As part of the residency, Maestro Gustavo Dudamel will curate four concerts illuminating music’s relationship with the world.

In addition to these concerts, the Maestro will come to campus in three extended visits throughout the year in a range of roles that showcase his dedication to revolutionizing music’s capacity to bring people together and serve as a platform for world change. These include public talks, events featuring students of El Sistema programs across the United States, art exhibits, celebrations of Latin American culture, and much more. Many of the events will be FREE!
